Lux Hire started late 2013, because friends kept asking for products that we had in our wholesale business that they needed for a Wedding or a Function that were not always easy to hire & so they then encouraged us to start hiring out items and to be different from the usual run of the mill & with our creative talents and good ideas – we went ahead & the business was called Lux Hire because we had a family wedding in Luxembourg & also could be from luxury too. However we have a lot of regular items too because of the demand and to also be a one stop supply when we can be. The accent is on Decor only but are able to do setups and flowers. We also have a huge range of glassware
Having been in the decor & gift industry in South africa (on the wholesale side) & also an importer of the same for 30 years in South Africa – it has been easy to source products and look for the different items.
We also have a retail outlet at our warehouse where our Hiring clients are able to purchase added extras for themselves to keep & we have a huge range of Paper Napkins.
In Sept 2014 – A friend insisted that we could make up a Cheese Tower cake for her daughter’s wedding so that along with the decor has become one of our specialities.
